Origin Story: Caregiver Who Couldn't Get a Grip
Easeability Jacket inventor, Joey Corasio, was caring for his mother with Alzheimer's when he found himself struggling with a recurring challenge.
Simple switches from seated to standing or moving from one seat to the next got more difficult with each passing day. As the days passed and she grew more frail, things didn't get easier. It became increasingly hard on Joey to help his mom both physically and emotionally.

She passed at the age of 93 a few months later in December of 2024.

He started talking to other caregivers and discovered he wasn't alone. After scouring the internet, he couldn't find a product that addressed this pain point.
So he decided to invent the solution himself.
He got to work on a prototype and started building the relationships and learning what he needed to know to make the jacket a reality.
